Wake up to a 300 km wide view of snow peaks in Kausani, the quiet hill town Gandhi called the Switzerland of India.
Our Kausani Tour Package From Delhi takes you to one of the most peaceful hill towns in Kumaon. Kausani sits on a ridge at about 1,890 metres among pine forests and tea gardens, facing a long line of Himalayan peaks including Trishul, Nanda Devi, Nanda Kot and Panchachuli. On a clear morning the view stretches for nearly 300 km, which is why Mahatma Gandhi called it the Switzerland of India.
Kausani is about 410 km from Delhi, so we break the journey with a night in Bhimtal or Nainital on the way up. This keeps travel comfortable and adds a lake town to your holiday. In Kausani you will visit the Anasakti Ashram, walk through the tea estate, see the ancient Baijnath temples and simply enjoy the silence. This Kausani tour package from Delhi is perfect for couples, writers, photographers and families who want a slow holiday.
