Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib Tour Package Overview

The Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib Tour Package From Delhi combines a sacred pilgrimage with one of the most beautiful treks in India. Hemkund Sahib is a revered Sikh gurudwara on the shore of a glacial lake at about 4,600 metres, surrounded by seven snow peaks. Close by, the Valley of Flowers National Park bursts into colour every monsoon with hundreds of alpine flower species.

Both places are reached from Ghangaria, a small village above Govindghat near Joshimath. From Ghangaria, the trail to Hemkund Sahib climbs about 6 km on a steep, well paved path, while the Valley of Flowers entrance is about 3 to 4 km away on a gentler trail. Our team plans halts in Rishikesh and Joshimath, comfortable guest houses in Ghangaria and separate days for the gurudwara and the valley. This Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib tour package from Delhi is ideal for devotees, families and nature lovers.

Next to the gurudwara stands the Lakshman Temple, linked to the legend that Lakshman meditated by the lake. Langar is served to all visitors at Hemkund Sahib, and the gurudwaras at Govindghat and Ghangaria offer shelter to pilgrims along the route.

If your main interest is the flowers, choose our Valley of Flowers trek package.
