A journey to the edge of Kumaon, where the five Panchachuli peaks rise right in front of a quiet mountain village.
The Munsiyari Tour Package From Delhi takes you to one of the most remote and beautiful corners of Uttarakhand. Munsiyari is a mountain village at about 2,200 metres in the Pithoragarh district, facing the five snow peaks of the Panchachuli range. Known as little Kashmir, it is also the gateway to treks like Milam Glacier and Ralam, and a base for walks to the meadows of Khaliya Top.
Because Munsiyari is about 600 km from Delhi, we plan the route in comfortable stages. You stop at Bhimtal and the tea garden village of Chaukori, see Birthi Falls on the way and reach Munsiyari rested. Here you can visit the Nanda Devi Temple, the tribal heritage museum and Darkot village, known for handwoven shawls. This Munsiyari tour package from Delhi is perfect for nature lovers and photographers who want untouched landscapes.
Prefer a shorter Kumaon holiday? See our Kausani tour package, which shares part of this scenic route.

The Munsiyari Tour Package From Delhi is best from March to June and from October to December. Spring brings blooming rhododendrons and pleasant days, while autumn and early winter offer the clearest views of the Panchachuli peaks. Winters bring heavy snow and very cold nights, and the monsoon can cause long road delays.
Munsiyari is reached by road from Delhi via Haldwani, Almora and Thal, or via Bageshwar. The nearest railway station is Kathgodam, about 275 km away, and the nearest airport is Pantnagar. Pithoragarh has a small airstrip with limited flights. The roads are well maintained but narrow and winding in parts, so we plan halts in Bhimtal and Chaukori to keep each driving day comfortable. Travelers using the train can begin the trip at Kathgodam station, which saves the first long drive from Delhi.
